My First Blog Post!
4/26/2026It's about freakin time I released this! Welcome to my first blog post! For anybody keeping up with my website at all, sorry for the lack of updates. I got super roped up in playing games and currently in college and junk. Honestly, I've just been really lazy. So! I decided to release this sort of... Alpha version of my blog page! Lets call it... 0of's Blog V0.1! There was a couple of features I wanted to add to this page but I had a lot of trouble trying to get them to work which is probably another reason why I haven't released this update yet.
Anyways, as for plans for my website, I am planning on making a big art dump of my artworks bc I've also been really lazy on that front and I've made a couple of artworks that I've been wanting to share on here. I've also been thinking on moving my Kirby and The Amazing Mirror article on here because, knowing myself I might just be as lazy writing articles on my favorite games, music, and media that I might aswell just make a blog post about it. If by the off chance I do write an article, it will show up here. BUT! I really really do want to make more unique pages for the website like a page for my OCs and what not, just not sure what kind of pages I want to make yet. Maybe I'll revert this change in the future, who knows.
As for what I've been up to recently, for one: College, it sucks. I've been puttin in the work though and have been getting great results so, stressful but, I'm pulling through :) Second: I've been playing this JRPG on my 3DS that I bought a while ago. I've had it in my backlog for a long time and it was time I actually played it. It's called Bravely Default and I discovered it from its head banger of an ost. I've been really enjoying it so far, I really like its main mechanic which is transforming one of RPG's (in my opinion) least used mechanic: defending. I feel like defending in RPGs are always in situational cases, I could be wrong bc I don't play a lot of RPGs but, what makes it unique in this game is that... defending, or as it is called ingame, having one your party members "Default" lets them not only reduce damage taken but also, store up extra moves that the characters can use all in one turn. Enemies can do this too which leads to adding an extra layer strategy to fights plus making fights more fast paced in the case of fighting against refular mooks. This is a game mechanic I've come to really enjoy!
This is what the party looks like so far :)
I've also been playing another game. Final Fantasy XIV! I've been playing this game for months now, I am currently at the start of Endwalker. Just waiting for the college semester to end so I can actually go through that expansion >:/ In the meantime however, I've been grinding out an alt I made for funsies. The announcement of the next expansion looks really cool and I can't wait for it to drop and Shadowbringers is being added to the free trial is dope! Shadowbringers is peak I'm so glad free trial players are able to experience that now!
Here's my main characeter, he's called "Nameless Dumbdumb":
And this is my alt character, she's called "Silly Noname", ND's twin sister:
I've also recently finished watching Kamen Rider OOOs and the Kamen Rider OOOs x Fourze Movie War Mega Max and both where lit. OOOs was a pretty good season, Eiji was a fun protagonist to watch. Especially bc of the dynamic he has with Ankh lol. The Rider War movies are like, one of my favorite things about Kamen Rider, it opened my eyes to how cool crossovers are, I love seeing the Riders I know team up to defeat the enemy aswell as taking a peek into the future of the previous Rider it's such a blast!
And... that's about it! I wanna try and do weekly blogs so lets see how that turns out. I might also just make a blog post whenever I get the feeling to make one out of no where. Anyways, cya!
